Years back, I remember having a piece of software, DOS-based (though, it ran on Windows), that could single-handedly download a large number of current versions of many classes of software -- utilities (antivirus, etc), internet (firefox -- it might have been Phoenix then), etc. Its menu had options to update, and, I think, even create a CD image for easier re-installation.
And yes, I believe it included commercial software (or, at least, demos).
I'd like to know the name of this software, if it stil exists, if there's a legal successor, etc.
