I want to hear about the best PE, users or developers have seen and used. Share opinions, links, images, videos about it. It can be voters own PE or they have find it from somewhere else. Topic is not for to compare features, size or functionality. If you like it, it boots and works fast and makes your job as you want and you think it is the best PE for you, you can share your opinion.

If it would now loose the hardcoded paths too, it would be perfect.

works nice. Also converted to Turkish. Add mmc support with devmgmgt.msc, services.msc, some improved cmd support, network support with a browser to 67MB

Oh i used tested a whole bunch. For a while Xuantians build was my favorite Win7 PE, but Win7PE_SE works now even better. Only startuptimes still need optimizing.
And of course, it's easier to dabble with.

(Almighty AERO WIN7PE) x2 better than xuantian but bigger because of printer support. I did not investigated deeply. I have more better builds than i can find from internet. The aim of i open this topic is to find better ones that i could not succeded to implement, investigate them and make better ones. Win7PE_SE is not one of them, do not have any curiousty to see what it looks like at the moment. There is lack of different good builds especially in english. Need to surf an have torture to find out how chineese do that. Probably they do not use Win7PE_SE also. Also they do not support english. Did not checked what russians do too. They can also make good builds.

As you know vvurat, creating a working PE is fast compared to creating a project, that builds this PE on every computer.

So working without having to do it perfectly legal, frees up a lot of resources, that can be better used to create an better PE.

Still remember the good old days, when the whole PE things started. Way before Winbuilder and still before BartPE.
Nobody gave a rats a... about what M$ wanted and didn't wanted and things improoved at an incredible rate.

I'm really looking forward to test the (Almighty AERO WIN7PE) x2. But from all the different PE i know, Win7PE_SE is at the moment the best, because, since a few weeks finally all glitches seem to be a thing of the past.
Language localization works perfectly now, hotplug works like a charm, connecting via PPoE is possible.

The only thing missing right now is support for webcams. And printer, i think, but i'm not sure. I think to remmember that someone created a script for printer support, though it's not part of the official distribution, like a few other things.

I could not manage with skype i think probably the reason was skype needs some extra things.Also my knowledge about what needs to be added is very limited.

For printer support. After i added all the needed files and registry stuff to my pe it gives error 0x0000003 when adding printers. My internet investigations says needs admin priviliages. But after i change software hive with the one from (Almighty AERO WIN7PE) it installs ok. Probably there is something more to investigate in software hive. I am not interested in printer support but needed that for other reasons for me. It is useless and space consuming thing to add that to a winpe.

Thanks for the link! Also good to know, that printer support can be that easily 'stolen'.

We had a problem with Win7PE_SE, don't remember what it was, but the problem turned out to be, the permissions set for certain registry keys.
Using an admin account did nothing in that case. The regisrty permission had to be fixed.

Hopefully the person responsible for that fix drops by and can explain it better to you.

Talk and ask chineese? I do not think they will help. It is impossible to read and understand from their language for me also with google translate. It is x2 impossible to find and try to talk with him More easy to find out my own way and to say "i did it" It is probably not a registry permission. If it was like that i could easy grap that access denied.
