Hello,

We will be upgrading the forum software this week and making some changes in terms of visual as well.

There will be some downtime but hopefully it shall not cause much disruption of service.

Our apologies for any inconvenience this maintenance task might carry.

Thank you.

Hee hee. Thanks for the maintenance efforts!

I just noticed that there don't appear to be Reply buttons beneath posts... I assume that work is still in progress.

New theme ... better than Vader! But it will take a while to get used with this theme.

And ... interesting header.

I think this forum uses javascript too much!

And, what is with Platinum Member?

Sorry.. for the moment we will only be supporting the default theme until we get all features tested and defects solved.

Understand...took me a minute or two to adjust to this from the 911 theme (and for those that hate the colors, well, can't do much about that)...Otherwise, it took a few minutes to adjust, but so far am finding most things...For example, "reply" to a single quote is now just "quote", and the editor defaults are different - but so far, so good.

ONE POINT to mention for all the people with pictures or other "avatar" things - INCLUDING YOU NUNO...I thought that going into your settings and "re-crop" the image would fix it. While it looks OK in settings, in the posts it is still just a small empty box.

Just one more tip...

I like to view new content, and periodically mark all the stuff as "read"...Took me a while to find that "button"...It is down at the bottom of the page near the RSS icon...

So, now I think I have all the things I used in the 911 skin working

Good Job...

The new theme does not look good on my 10 inch netbook.I have to scroll both ways - horizontally and vertically.
The old theme was better.I only had to scroll vertically.

If you happen to meet the programmer(s) that put together the "Post reply" current mechanism, please spit him/her in the face on my behalf. :w00t:

Emoticons have been made in a stupid "ribbon" below, or in a new window and we have the place where they used to be empty (I presume to add in the future live webcam/realtime movie palayng or twitter updates :dubbio: )

Besides the "instant parsing" that makes, bolding, underlining and Italicizing a pain in the @§§, pointed lists are hardly manageable:
  • a
  • b
  • c
  • d
  • e .....
I have a stoopid blue frame around the part I'm typing in (sometimes - sometimes not).

The "instant Reply" has been made default (BAD, BAD!) and it's scrolling DOES NOT work properly.
The "More options" has only a few lines more and the scrolling DOES NOTwork as well.
And Control+C and Control+V DO NOT WORK! :ranting2:

But we do have a new "advanced" (please read as "retarded" uploader that needs Flash 9! :frusty:

I hope that at least someone has being having some fun botching (again) the user interface of the board. :)

I have 2 problems related to logging in.
1.) If the 'sign in' sign get's any smaller, i will need a scanning tunneling microscope to find it. ;)
2.) Pressing 'Tab' after entering the login name, does not get the cursor into the password field, but marks Register. Change that please.

Last but not least, i have a few question.
Where is the messenger? / How do i get to the messenger?
Where can i see, if i got a new PM?
