Debugmode's Wink software provides a very, very tiny tool (~10mb) for building audio-video tutorials in flash. This tool runs in windows or linux, but also runs in LiveXP cleanly. The benefit to using flash is that it could be integrated with any hosting site. No need to post your video on youtube for people to find it, you can even embed the video inside a page (see example on link given above).

The size of the video output is very small. More so if you use palette when rendering (I saw no visible loss of quality).

Pro: Small (Both program and video output), fast, freeware.
Con: Slowly eats megs of memory while capturing. In a PE environment, you may consider enabling a pagefile for longer captures.

And if anyone wants, I can also supply a LiveXP script for this program.

Good suggestion. I like the demo video on the site as it makes really simple to show people how to do things.
