Looks Great! But what win7PE version should i use to easy add this stuff?

I'm using amalux win7pex right now. Is it possible to add this script?

Hi Befrielse,

The script is for Win7PE_SE Release but it should work on other Win7 PE's like RescuePE or Multi7PE.

The Amalux win7pex is a little different and i don't know if it works you have to try.

attention, sorry i have a problem in version 4 take the version 3 (post 22). i hope it's OK now.
@Rui Paz
For x86 and x64 Support, I'm really sorry, your script do it did very well (And congratulations for a first script :hyper:), I must be too eager to add the search, explorer and customize option. My apologies. :)

I personally don't agree with your classification because Classic Shell isn't really a Shell like BS Explorer 2 or BbLean that can completely replace Explorer as Shell.

Ok, for your suggestion to put Classic shell in Tweaks or Addon in the next update Win7PE_SE, you're right.

Hello just starting with winpe 3.0 . I downloaded the classicshell_v3 script. I need a shell for my winpe project. I have 2 questions::
1. the file called "classicshell.script" Does the contents get pasted into winpeshl.ini ?
2. How do I get my Apps that are in a folder in windows on the mounted image and in the same place on the image on the cd, into programs in ClassicShell ?

No, Classicshell isn't really a shell its more like a "skin" for Explorer so you need to use Explorer or Micro Explorer as Shell in your project.

I don't fully understand you question, you should create shortcuts as usual using Add_Shortcut function inside the scripts.
When ClassicShell starts it will "import" all the shortcuts Explorer can see on the Start Menu.

In the screenshot in the script interface, the skin looks like it fits perfectly with the dark blue windows theme. I'm however unable to find that skin. Not among the included skins and not as a download.

What skin was used, when that screenshot was taken and where can i get it?

I augment classic shell script at the moment to include also classic explorer and a few other tweaks.
However i'm unable to extract the 64Bit files from the installer.

If someone is interested in the new version to work with 64Bit too. Please post somewhere the classicshell 64Bit files.

There are two (32 & 64bit) simple ClassicStartMenu 3.5 scripts with autostart function here:
http://al-jo.zxq.net...artMenu32bit.7z (tested ok in 7pe)
http://al-jo.zxq.net...artMenu64bit.7z (not tested)
Files inside the scripts can be extracted and perhaps be used in the “original” script?

Thanks al_jo!

But i require version 2.8.3 Beta5 for this, as later versions don't use anymore ini files and i would need to drop some custom options in the script.

Will keep them for the next version. ;)

Just did a quick test of ClassicStartMenu 3.5.0 and, man, I'm impressed!
What a great program, I wish it were available as configurable WinBuilder script somehow...

New ClassicShell script with Classic Start Menu 3.5 Inside x86/x64
Works on Win7PE_SE, It should work with VistaPE, other Win7PE and also in Win8PE.

Many options available to choose your language, your Skin, your additional menu items or your recent programs.
