filename-date/version-pw=bootwimb.zip or rar.. :pressure:

it's maybe more manful to set the password to reboot.pro for make a bit advertising for this board ^_^

filename-dateorversion-pw=reboot.pro.zip

just so an idea :whistling:

therewith could it be more unified over the whole board and by the faq's:

... the whole files where be downloadable from this board have the password "reboot.pro"

All downloads of my software at reboot.pro are now Encrypted and protected with password = bootwimb

Thanks for the hard work, Wimb.

You have posted lots of excellent software here over the years and this contributes to the added value of this forum : lets keep it that way :)

The site has been down for a day or two.

Nothing related to a technical issue.

A file has been reported as malware and ip was locked by the hosting company...

File was removed, request was made to remove the "lock", and site is back.

More details about the possible reported malware here.

Just for information. This morning Malwarebytes blocks tech.reboot.pro due to trojan detection ! (probably false positive?), and so reboot.pro is also blocked. I have added an exception rule for both reboot.pro and tech.reboot.pro.

By the way, there are DNS over https and others for protection:

https://developers.c...1-for-families/

Edit: now bootdisk.com is also blacklisted by Malwarebytes !

There was a broken database table which prevented to open forum threads.

A quick mysql "REPAIR TABLE" and this is now fixed.

This is a very sunny and hot weather over here : hope this is the same for you.

i can not post via chrome unless i switch to "more reply options" and then post. in the "more reply options", lots of features are missing there (under chrome, not under i.e or ff). could it that chrome was updated lately and changed the way our old forum software is handled?

Opera (good ol' Presto engine :smiling9: ) works just fine.

But Alacran's screenshot looks like being Firefox?

php5-fpm is crashing a lot. up to a point where it seems to affect the whole system. i dont know if this is a consequence or a cause. i may reconfigure nginx at some point to us php 7.0 (also available on the server).

i am trying to understand the issue right now. clearly i can see that php5-fpm keeps crashing (hence triggering error 500) which would tend to indicate an issue with the server (or the associated software). there as a workaround I may try to switch to php7.0 in the coming days. i can also see that something is wrong with the editor (ckeditor) but strangely i get different behaviors depending on which browser i use which would tend to use an external change (like a dependency to a cloud software no longer working for instance). if anyone can check his dev console in chrome and compare, that would help.

I am struggling a bit with the forum software for now and can only repair on the spot at this stage.

I had to do again a "sudo systemctl restart php5-fpm" this morning.

I also had to "repair table tablename;" a bunch of table via mysql cli (probably due to php crashes) - after i detected crashed tables with "mysqlcheck databasename | grep -B 1 crashed".

To possibly have php restart auto i have modified the php-fpm.conf to:
emergency_restart_threshold = 10
emergency_restart_interval = 1m

Not to mention ckeditor which is broken (for me at least) in chrome.

Last but not least, in some situations, "sudo reboot" would not work and I had to do a brutal "echo b > /proc/sysrq-trigger".

Note that I am sharing all this in case somebody takes after me while I am away ;)

I have upgraded ckeditor to 3.6.6.1 (was 3.6.6 before).

I see a slight improvement (ckeditor is back and i can post) but ckeditor is lacking some icons in chrome.

Ckeditor still works fine in i.e and firefox.

Please dont hesitate to report bugs/issues on this matter (ckeditor).

Edit...

Finally back to previous/old version :

With new version, after a page refresh, ckeditor is messed up in any browser...

With old version reverted, everything seems to be ok now in any browser...

It appears that the ip.board guys have customized the default ckeditor which is a shame as you cannot then upgrade this module/feature without breaking the board...

At the end, I suspect some php cached session/code was the issue.

Fingers crossed, we are good to go for another round now :)
