I've used the xBOOT program to create a multi-boot disk of 8 GB that has Hiren's Boot CD 12.0, Ubuntu 12.04 and Windows 7 (all versions) installation successfully. After testing on my VMWare machine, this was successful and all seemed to work fine.
Now I wanted to add a Windows XP Pro SP2 install to it. I started Xboot again and tried to add Windows XP to it. (Note: possible as suggesstion, it did not showed what was already on the disk). I did not created a new Bootloader, but decided to edit the current one (Syslinux).
This caused two issues.
1: When scanning from Grub with the PXE scan, it's scanning 578 MB, which is the ISO size. But it scans every 10 seconds only 8 MB. Ubuntu and Windows 7 iso is much bigger (Win 7 being 3.3 GB), but they start up immediately.
2: As this takes already quite long, when the installation does proceed and tries to start the installation, I get the STOP error 0x0000007B, probably because it receives a time-out to access the ISO.
Am I doing something wrong here?
