Hi,
Firstly I'm new to VistaPE etc.!
Second, On building on a XP Home SP3 with antivirus disabled etc. Blue screens just after 'detect source language'. I have tried latest Winbuilder.

I beleive that at this point the script goes to look in the registry? but I'm running on XP Home so is this why? Also sometimes the Blue screen says ntfs.sys is the problem.
Documentation says it can build on XP. Any pointers?

Thanks
Paul

Do you have administrative privileges on the system?

Can you post the error code and the numbers following it?

Do you mean the blue screen? If you mean the log of the script I don't know where it is! Sorry!

Hey!

Got the same error on one of my PCs with winxp home..
On PCs with winxp pro there isn't any bluescreen while building.

I wish I could make one successful build, let's keep on trying :(

regards

Try "chkdsk {drive letter}: /r" on all of your drives.
