I am glad to introduce my simpliest util. It creates new blank (filled by zeros) hdd image file (from the very MBR to the end of
the single partition) of any given size.
You can mount this .img file with famous imdisk and then You can format it as fat32 or ntfs.
Then You can copy files to it and unmount it.
If the resulting image still has some free space, this space can be gzipped wery well because it consists of repeated zeros.
Nice manually created progressbar :)
Util was written by me in pure assembler (http://<span style=...ler.net</span>/) and it's size is only 4 KB. You don't need any dll such as MFC or .NET.
Only Win32 function was used by me, so my SplImgCreator can be successfully executed in any Windows from Win 95 to Win 8 and WinPE.

What's New in Version 1.1 (See full changelog)

  • BugFixed: cylinder 9th bit doesn't set.
  • Some improvements in text fields.
