Nope. In command prompt, type the following and post the output:

devcon.exe find pci*

Regards,
Galapo.

according to this site
the driver package Ver:15.0 should contain the suitable driver, at least 82562V-2 10/100 is listed here
ver. 15.0 PROXP.exe downloadable from here

should copy all files from PROXP.exe\\PRO100\Win32\NDIS5x
into the folder '\Workbench\Common\PENetwork_drivers\',
in PENetwork script use:
PENetworkscript.png
i mean should copy not only the .inf .sys files but also the .exe .dll and .din files

Followed your instructions and used drivers from site above.
Inserted as you said to folder '\Workbench\Common\PENetwork_drivers\',

Build every time now with no errors and firadisk happy too.
I saw PENetwork add drivers during build.
Booted CD, everything works, all software except no network card.

Driver Import PE finds Driver with OS method and states successful,
PENetwork finds no card. With Folder method, Driver Import PE reports
needs bus.

I took the CD to my laptop today and booted up. I use Dell Inspiron, Duo core,
I have Intel Wireless Card, PENetwork could not find.

I'm thinking it has to be the Vista on both machines.

I will try on an XP machine just to see if wireless can be found.

That's it for now.

Guess we can turn the page.

With Folder method, Driver Import PE reports
needs bus.

i am almost sure it caused by the w2k3sp2 source
i get the same error if the source CD is w2k3sp2
when i use XP source CD then Driver Import PE can successfully import my NIC's driver

Can you install the driver via 'Device Manager'?

devmgmt.msc > View > Show hidden devices > under 'Other devices' select Ethernet Controller > Update Driver... > select 'Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)' >
use 'Include this location in the search:' and point to the folder where you extracted the files from the PROXP.exe
(of course writable %SystemDrive% is mandatory)

The above method works for me even if the source CD is w2k3sp2

I received email yesterday stating:

"The issue with "need bus" driver is a bug in Driver Import PE V1.3.3.0.
It solve in V 1.3.3.4. look in History. The current Version public next days, but not for free. can everybody buy. The last free Version is V1.3.3.0."

Apparently, the "free" version will not work for me, but I could buy a version that may.

I think I'll pass.

Thanks dera, we'll just drop the topic.

Take care.

Yes that driver import thing is no good.

But i can see no reason, why Network should not work for you, as it does for everybody else.
PE-Network is perfectly capable to handle this for free!

Thanks. What I need is some more education on these things.

Snows are falling here and I have satellite internet,
so I will not be on line probably till storms move out.

Everyone take care.

Snows stopped, decided to partition HD and install w2k3 so I could make the script for LiveXP with MyNic. Windows Vista would not let me install w2k3 or WinXP even when I added the Sata RAID drivers to Nlite and made a CD. I figured enough was enough!

I am typing this with my new LINUX distribution. :P
