Hello,
I am attempting to take Dera's AcronisBackupAndRecovery11.script and update it the latest version of  Acronis Backup & Recovery. (11.5.37687) (latest as of 2013/08/27)

Hello,
I am starting from square 1 to build the latest acronis B&R 11.5.37678 script.
I am doing my best to gather all neccessary info to create this script. I am using the Acronis Bootable Media Builder to build a default Acronis WINPE boot disc and then try to copy how Acronis runs and incorporate the same method into a .script for Win7PE_SE.

I am hoping one of you amazing smart creative members of the reboot.pro community would be able to use the information I've found to create a new AcronisB&R11.5.script. :cheerleader:

Here is the process I have taken to gather file/registry info.

1. Create Acronis Recovery Disc from native Acronis Bootable Media Builder using the WinPE. (this is where the WinPE32.zip files are used. (located C:\Program Files\Acronis\BootableComponents\WinPE\WinPE32.zip. assuming you have acronis backup & recovery + Universal Restore installed)

2. boot Acronis Recovery Disc

3. Noted all folder locations of Acronis Files

Also to note, \Program Files\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\trueimage_starter.exe is the main acronis executable to launch acronis in WinPE.

here is the winpe32.zip files used in the winpe.

I got it working, everything else is the same as abr11, except in

Control\Class\{4D36E967-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

UpperFilters = PartMgr, fltsrv

ControlSet001\Control\Class\{71A27CDD-812A-11D0-BEC7-08002BE2092F}

UpperFilters = fltsrv

and service:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\services\fltsrv]
"ErrorControl"=dword:00000001
"ImagePath"="system32\\DRIVERS\\fltsrv.sys"
"Start"=dword:00000000
"Type"=dword:00000001

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\services\snapman]
"ErrorControl"=dword:00000001
"ImagePath"="system32\\DRIVERS\\snapman.sys"
"Start"=dword:00000000
"Type"=dword:00000001
"DependOnService"=hex(7):66,00,6c,00,74,00,73,00,72,00,76,00,00,00,00,00

add: mms, agent, ARSM, MSiSCSI to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Setup\AllowStart]

problem for me is whenever you close the program, it reboot your PE.....so lame.....so I don't think you'll need it, just use 11 instead....

btw, I don't think those files ended in *.so and agent_ramdisk.dat(96mb)  are used in win7pe...I don't know why they put it in there...

dsolomon,

I have a working Win7pe with Acronis 10.0.11639 on a USB stick.  I do not have the project to recreate this,  I am trying to copy the working files on to a new Project so that i can update the drivers for local machines i work on.

Do you think your method will work for me?  did you get a working win7pe working with acronis using your method?
