I was contemplating on either creating this topic or post at this thread: Universal HDD Image files for XP and Windows 7 but my problem is with Windows Server 2012 and not Windows 7.
I am trying to use Firadisk driver as filedisk to install the Server 2012 OS into VHD and later clone it for RAMbooting. However I keep getting BSOD "INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE" when trying to load Windows Server from VHD. Now I can get Windows 8 to install into VHD and run from VHD using Firadisk as filedisk, but for some reason Windows Server 2012 just flat out refuse to even use the driver. I have test signing enabled and tried the Disable Driver Inforcement option to no avail. What is funny is that Windows 8 works but Windows Server 2012 doesn't. Does this mean that Firadisk via filedisk is not compatible with Windows Server 2012?
