Hello Friends ! Please help me

I have purchased new HP mini laptop and it has come with onyl dos ..so need to install OS ..i tried rmprep ..with an XP OS AND VISTA OS as well .The booting is good from USB drive .. and also installation starts ..but when it come to copying windows files screen and when it is comes to 35 percentage .. it stops and shows error something like 0x80070070 something ..and says . windows cannot copy files required for installtion ..make sure all files required for installtion are avbl and restart the installtion...

I am not getting what to do ..please help me in this .. i even tried taking different OS ..Plese help me in installing OS in my new laptop mini .

Is something need to be done in my laptop before doing this ..Please help me please .
