Hi,

I've been trying to get the USBsticks script to work, but it just seems to hang whenever I run QEMU. Is this happening to anyone else?

WinBuilder: WB 051 beta 4

script filename: USBSticks.script

script version: 5

Source: Windows XP SP2 Portuguese

Host: Windows XP SP2 home Portuguese

Sometimes it hangs when going the progress bar, others when the desktop is just starting to show. Whenever I disable it - things work as expected. :P

I'll post the log if needed, just wanted to know if this is a common issue..
:P

Sometimes it hangs ...

Nuno, if you don't use the last version of QEMU, get it. It may help :P

Thanks, I've downloaded it and replaced the former version from the tools folder. I was using 0.8.0 and knew about 0.8.1 - having a 0.8.2 is really good news..

Now there's another issue: It fails to start because libusb0.dll wasn't found..

After some googling I've found that this is an open source project wich needs to be manually installed before running.

Tried running qemu with this missing file and still no results.. :P

It's working..

After all libusb0.dll didn't had to be installed. I've added this file on the old qemu folder and also overwriten qemu.exe with the 0.8.2 version.

After this, booting toke a bit more to start when the desktop shows, but no longer hangs - it boots! :P

Thanks Alexei!!

I'm glad it worked :P
Though, expect more troubles with networking :P
See http://www.boot-land...?...pic=408&hl=
I'm switching to Virtual PC to work on "networking" scripts :P

I'm also glad to see this solved..

About the network functions, hasn't Martin managed to run the network on his microPE project before with qEmu? :P

I've read it some time ago, but never really tried since I don't use any network features thought.. :P
