Hi guys, having and issue with a build I am trying to do. Its a very simple build, I am not making any changes to scripts, the only thing I am trying to do is add Hiren's to the build. I added that and started the build process. At the end, the qemu shows Hirens on the desktop and when i burn the CD it shows from the CD, however if I try to boot using grub4dos, Hirens does not show. Any suggestions?

No suggestion!

I do not know even what you want to create.

Tell us the project you are using, and include the log.html.

Hi Peter.
I am using WinBuilder (large file) to create a Win7 PE base system with only adding Hiren's Boot CD to the build, no other changes were made. When the project is created, QEMU opens and runs the PE with no problems with Hiren's BCD on the desktop. When I copy the finished iso file from the iso folder and add it to my usb (which is set up with grub4dos 0.4.5c, iso mapped), PE runs, however, Hiren's does not show up on the desktop nor is found anywhere in the PE project within the iso. Please note, I am using the included script in the winbuilder program to add Hirens into the project. Something else I tested was burned the iso to dvd and booted from it and the result was different.

I'll get a log file up shortly.

Thanks,
Aylen

okay guys, a little update. I managed to get Hiren's working on my boot usb and its loading within win7pe se. I allowed the script to create a bootable usb and copied all the files over. Now my next concern is (forgive me if its posted in the wrong place), the project create a new boot.wim file located in the sources folder. I also now want to add Win 7 Install to the drive which also has a sources/boot.wim file which cannot be over written. is there a solution or a way to redirect the boot.wim file to be read on the root of the drive or in another folder?

Okay guys, solved my own issue. I copied all the files needed from Hirens into the ppApp folder and created a shoutcut within the script process to add to the taskbar and start menu thus allowing Hiren's to show in the project build iso. Then using grub4dos, did a iso mapping of the file. This allows me to also have Windows 7 AIO installer on my usb device, memtest, and other tools I use.

Appreciate all the help that was given.
Aylen
