Please, Please , Please!!

Implement a "Don't Check Internet Connection" Box.
Due to the company firewall I can't ping an internet address although I've got
no problem with http/ftp.
In winbuilder76 that was no problem but in the later versions I can't use the
download funktion in winbuilder.
That's a known problem and I'm not the only one who got this problem.

So it would be nice if the connection check could be disabled.

Thank you

as http is working you can switch ping mode over to http and it should work for you.

Hi,

I know this switch.
But our corporate firewalls seems to be "better"
Also a http-ping is blocked.

And I know, I'm not the only one with this kind of problem.

As I wrote:
There is no problem with downloads with winbuild V76. Only the later versions have this problem.

I cannot download with 076 or 080/081RC1.

It is the ISA proxy used here, which uses an autoconfiguration script, that appears to be the problem.

Perhaps the bypass of checking for connection would allow it to work?
