Introducing Team Reboot - Maiden post will be locked & be opened time to time to communicate necessary information from Team Reboot's side. On the other hand, whatever you want to convey to them, use this thread. Ideas will be consumed & get reflected to the mentioned thread.
I do not have special over-average programming skills. What can my role be
When you look into my profile:
Maybe you add me to the team, where I only can bring in my creativity and the experience of having fixed tenths of emergencies.Interests: What somebody else cannot do
BTW: I created jpeg files a bit earlier than Billy the Door ...
Maybe I find the code anywhere and will publish in our "museum" ...

Actually, and just for the record, I don't think that (exceptionally and limited to this single case) Billy is to be blamed.BTW: I created jpeg files a bit earlier than Billy the Door ...
All the blame for the stoopid format should be put on the guys (self-appointed as "experts") that formed the:
http://en.wikipedia....c_Experts_Group
As often happens with committees the result is IMHO well worse that what could have been developed ....

Another question would be, what clear set of criteria allows to be named (opted in, selected as, voted in, called as, marked for...) Team Reboot member, and who is that privileged to assign to others such entitlement? Where is the link to current Team Reboot Member List with Bios & Accomplishments (if any) ?

Whatever topics are being hidden from reboot members, they fall into either of these categoriesI guess, quite a few forum members won't appreciate the fact that some forum posts suddenly require a privileged access while at the same time appearing in the common list of Recent Posts. It doesn't exactly look and feel (smell) like roses.
- Information what we need to discuss within the team, like strategies, which must be kept hidden from other teams playing CTF.
- Discussions on the next challenge to be published
- General discussions
For #2, would you like to get the solution of challenges first & then the challenges itself?
By no chance, #3 will interest non-Team-Reboot members. Those discussions are not at all technical.
It won't work, I bet. We were continuing all our discussions using google groups till now. It has become unmanageable.Since Team Reboot appears to be small, why don't conduct your private exchange by using the Forum Messenger, which itself is setup like a private forum thus ideally fitting that exact role.
Only your interest about security related stuffs & participating in CTF competitions. It's open to ALL reboot members & in many cases I've personally requested many members to join Team Reboot. It's nothing like an "elite" group of members being given "higher-privilege" in form of Team Reboot, be rest assured.Another question would be, what clear set of criteria allows to be named (opted in, selected as, voted in, called as, marked for...) Team Reboot member
Big Bossand who is that privileged to assign to others such entitlement?
Probably this is what you are looking for.Where is the link to current Team Reboot Member List with Bios & Accomplishments (if any) ?
