I just tried to update an app script of mine on the download section, but an error occurred because the file couldn't be located. Seems like pointing to external files has been (inadvertently?) removed.

Yesterday I changed the permission to allow posting script without being inside one of the sub-categories so it might be related. The idea was to keep the main category section uncluttered since there have been some scripts posted there that can't be moved to the proper place.
What is the script that you're trying to update?
Will try to fix ASAP.

Problem also occurs if trying to add a new file on the downloads page. Can't link to external files:

Any idea as to when this issue might be repaired?
Thanks,

I will try to fix it tomorrow.
The code is rather buggy, will probably have to code myself since the development team hasn't released any updated versions for months now.
Sorry for this delay.

Sorry for this delay.
That's OK. I was just wondering what the status was. Hopefully it's not too much work for you to enable linking to external files again.
Thanks,
Galapo.

It's working now, really sorry for the delay and annoyances this brought.
Had my eyes turned to the source code while the answer was inside the administrative panels.
There are still however some bugs - I can't, for example, move the app scripts that were placed inside the general category instead of the appropriate sub-section. Maybe that can be fixed some day.
