I'm at my wits end.
Uploaded the result of a run of the new script in WB072 with XPSP2eng.

http://naughtype.win...t/NaughtyPE.rar

Maybe one of you can figure out what is different from your build.

ie6 script update to v15
flash script update to v2

/turkish
Türkçe windows üzerinde ingilizce xpsp2 kullanarak test ettiğim ie_06 scriptinde herhangi bir problem görmedim
yalnız wb072a naughtype scriptlerinden tweaks/autoLocalization scripti kullanılırsa ie6'nın çalışma sırasında flashplayer çöküyor
diğer scriptlerde herhangi bir sorun yok

Flash Player v10.0.22.87'ye yükseltildi

/english (Lancelot)
with hostos xp tr, with source os xpsp2enu, no problem with ie_06 script
BUT when naughtype + wb072a + tweaks/autoLocalization used, ie6 collapse when flashplayer used.
no other problem found on with scripts

Flash Player script upgraded to v10.0.22.87

The new version of ie6 runs in nativeEx_barebone (!WBManager: Standard) from XPSP2 German, under WB 077 RC 2 with 'factory settings' (like downloaded, no option changed)
I did not test flash, because also in my standard host installation I try to avoid all theme, animation, wallpaper, ..., etc. stuff.

@Medevil

post 52 converted to english,
Besides with reading saydin77's pm I remember saydin77's finding with bugy behaviour of autolocalization script with IE, I probably reported repeatedly too ~1 year ago but I really do NOT CARE, most of the things related to autolocalization script fixed in time on LiveXP but Since autolocalization script always gave trouble to me, I do not enable it more than a year  , I remember with thanks a lot to dera ;) I made a default tr script for localization which works very nicely. I really do NOT care now for finding a reproducable way, reporting, reporting same again, reporting same again, reporting same again..... and etc... Maybe you can with creating another topic ...

simply make tests with disableing autoLocalization ;).

Also i will ask saydin77 for an enchancment, maybe it can help for a fix too with a newer version of IE!

CU ;)

EDIT: Following the translation of saydin77's post, I have to do a new test with flash included.

My tests were all done without autoLocalization and some even without flash.
Did you see anything wrong in the uploaded archive?

Will test the new versions when time permits.

New test:
  • Downloaded actual NaughtyPE
  • Unchecked a lot of apps, only essential apps like TaskManager, Regedit etc. remained
  • Addted latest ie6 and flash scripts, deleted the current ones.
  • Added my latest VirtualBox script, deleted the current one.
  • Defined XPSP2 English as source
  • Run the project under WB 077 RC2
Two historical errors: Wrong syntax with RegWrite 0x4
  • It booted into VirtualBox.
  • Started IE
  • Called http://www.miner3d.com/tutorials/
  • Clicked one link needing flash player:
    Worked
Result: Generally saydin77's new scripts work with NaughtyPE, too.
If there are troubles, perhaps a script of NaughtyPE is responsible.
It should be possible to find it with help of the new non-cooperative version of WB which disturbes users by messaging overwrites.

Why so complicated if it can be so simple.

Take a fresh NaughtyPE.
Select/download in Apps only CD-Opera and PeNetwork
Deselct in Drivers: HD Audio and SATA
Deselect Finish\1-Optimizations

Add Saydins Flash and IE script into Internet folder.

Run Project.

If IE works for you. Send me an archive containing: the log, a list of the files in the target folder (dir /b /s > liste.txt) and the hives.

Thanks! ;)

Never doubted Saydins word or yours or Peters for that matter.

There is something working different on my machine than on yours and until we can pinpoint that, we're running in circles.

I wish you my best luck MedEvil. I see you already get one more step. Since you are the one with your machine having the problem, I hope log and list info helps you to find the reason.

Good luck

MedEvil'e son olarak ie_06 scriptin dll dosyalarını, autolocalization ve autoupx olmadan oluşturulan livecd içerisinden tekrar kaydetmeyi denemesini öneriyorum (regsvr32 ole32.dll,mshtml.dll,mshtmled.dll,mlang.......vs), yine çalışmazsa [replace.settings] sekmesindeki registry kayıtları karşılaştırılabilir, yine çalışmazsa filemon kullanarak hangi dosyayı bulamadığı tespit edilebilir, yine çalışmazsa başka birşey gelmiyor aklıma
şimdilik bukadar ;)
aklıma başka birşey gelmiyor ;)

/Turkish (Lancelot)
For tests I suggest MedEvil to overwrite ie_06 script s dll files to a livecd (L:naughty iso) builded without autolocalization and autoupx (regsvr32 ole32.dll,mshtml.dll,mshtmled.dll,mlang.......etc)
ps: Lancelot: Medevil make a build without autolocalization and autoupx than overwrite files manually ;).
If dont work again than MedEvil can compare registry values of [replace.settings] section with the builded iso,
If dont work again than MedEvil can use filemon to see which files are missing,
If dont work again than that is all for now ;)
nothing new comes to my mind ;)

I made a test with your proposed configuration. source English and Germaqn: Both ok.

To find out what's different to my machine:
  • Again make a 'non-running minimum build'
  • Please save your configuration by WBManager e.g. as NaughtyTest
  • Post the complete !WBManager\NaughtyTest folder and the corresponding ISO.
  • Post the log
  • Post %BaseDir% and %SourceDir% paths.
I'll try to rebuild and compare.

Could we please first run one test, before we move on to the next?

I would like, if we start with mine. For one it was the first suggested and second it needs the least volume of files to be send.
If that's inconclusive, i'm more than happy to try another one.

I would like: the log, a list of the files in the target folder (dir /b /s > liste.txt) and the hives.

To really be able to compare: Which source?
English or German?
XP SP2 or XP SP3?

OK, I'll repeat with XPSP2 German.

BTW: There is a small difference:
During boot with English source a popup comes 'Insallation failed'. No info about Installation of What.

But everything seems to work nice.
