In case anyone needs to generate Windows answer files to automate the install of Windows, there is a very useful site at http://windowsafg.no-ip.org called Windows Answer File Generator (WAFG) which will generate an XML file from a web page. It will generate XML files for Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 (Desktop tab) and various Server Editions (Server tab).

It also can create batch files which will change the Windows power, features and services settings (post-install).

With a few tweaks, the WAFG XML unattend file can be used with Easy2Boot to run a fully-automated install booting directly from ISO files (or for UEFI installs, you can use .imgPTN files). I describe the changes required to fully automate the installs in my blog post here.

The XMLtoE2B.exe Windows GUI utility will allow you to convert WAFG XML files for automated use with E2B or non-E2B scenarios. It also allow you to easily modify the WAFG answer file so that it creates UEFI-compatible GPT partitions to automate UEFI installs.
