As for clone, windows 7 will work fine, but windows 8 and 10 requires to be installed in vhd.
First install windows 10 to vhd as "windows10.vhd'
Disable the LWF Driver in registry or by bind tool. You can find the information how to do this in some forum here in reboot.pro
Create a iscsi target and iscsi disk
Then copy the "windows10.vhd" into the iscsi disk
Using "easybcd" deploy bcd in iscsi disk
Then link the windows10.vhd in newly created bcd.
As The iSCSI Boot Firmware Table (iBFT) for sure creates the problem you mentioned. So the only way is to install to vhd and process as i said. By this way nothing is disturbed in boot process of windows 10
The main thing is you should be using the same windows 10 version while you are deploying the bcd using easy bcd software.
Because bcd and bootmgr should be the same version.
As this will vary between windows 7, 8, and 10.
As for direct install to iscsi I have not succeeded.
