First off, this might be better in the 7PE forum (under winbuilder?) or possibly under the windows support groups PE area Windows PE Fourm

There are some winbuilder oriented project that might help you out or the scripting based approachs in the WindowsPE forum. Basically, you will have to use something like DISM to "insert" the driver into the image...

Search around a bit ... Explore.... LEARN

Hey

Thanks for that

Seems you have the key - found the info. Exhausted "add raid drivers" - type searches though... Hope the 7PE guys add a feature for this.

Hi DebugMe,

Feature already exist in Win7PE_SE project.

Download the project and work through every option and select what you need, and link to the info it request.

And off you go.

BTW adding drivers is the easiest part of the whole process. The most dificult part is getting the drivers...

As shown above, in at least this project  there is a driver integration script, and it takes the driver packs, so even getting the drivers is pretty easy. YES, it takes time in the build, and YES, it makes the ISO image larger, but once integrated, you have all the needed mass storage drivers!

Hi DebugMe,

Look at the image provided by al_jo. Under drivers there is driver integration. There you can basically add any driver. Massstorage, display, etc. Yes as sbaeder mentioned use the driver packs. This is making the image larger but is relative. I build an image with all the massstorage and network drivers, plus added a bunch of other tools and is still under a CD size...

So it realy depens on your needs...

Hi Guys

Are you using a different version of Winbuilder? The lastest do not have the 7PE_SE project. The project descriptions on here are non-existent. These are technical projects and n the documentation is spread out over posts on the forum.

The publisher should at least document what each program/project is and what the limitations (i.e. no raid driver options!) are.

Why is not offered as a down-loadable project with Winbuilder? It was a real battle to get to this info.

Regards
