Is this possible ?
Copying a differencing vhd in to ram and booting it from there.
I had no luck with grub4dos so far, if anyone knows where should i be looking, please point me.

No.
grub4dos can only deal with "staic" VHD's and (in some trelatively recent release) has some support for Dynamic ones, but no "Differencing" AFAIK.
