Iso Stick stops working on 2 different Windows 7 systems

I am not sure where to start troubleshooting this. The isostick sometime work but stops working after several hrs. Reinsertion does not resolve. I see windows 7 trying to load the usb drivers but fails. I do not see a device in Device Manager that does not have driver installed or is in error. I do not have any drives added after the driver fails.

Is there a guide for troubleshooting the ISO stick.This same behavior occurs on 2 different system.

The event Log so show this but does not indicate issues:

More information: the Windows 7 Driver Software Installation error states the following.

Isostick emergency recovery, no driver found

Sounds like the isostick is crashing. Please make sure you're updated to the latest firmware (r1616 at the time of writing), see this post for details.

Reset the isostick. Latest firmware installed. Now I get Driver failed to install "PCI Simple Communications Controller"

Hmm very odd! Try reseating the microSD card, and make sure it is in all the way -- it should click into place.
