I don't know, but as it is the recovery s/w, it should restore Windows. All you can do is try it.

ok ill try it. is preparing the partition and now copying files, so if everything goes well and after all is done im able to boot normally should i after that make the partition HIDDEN again? or what should be my next step?

ok so far so good it keeps installing drivers and rebooting ill keep you posted whatever happens bro
thanks

Ok now i remember what happened, the last time this happened:
https://www.dropbox....j2/IMAG1604.jpg
you see the mouse pointer on the top left corner the spinner is not spinning is just frozen and the keyboard and mouse they are not responding.and this happened the last time it broke, and now im here again.
everything was installing fine: this Toshiba software was installing drivers and the bar was filling up and then it said not to touch the keyboard or mouse and that it was going to reboot and it has been doing the reboot process more than 3 times already or probably more and now it rebooted again and now it is stuck here...
well do you have any ideas? im gonna leave it alone for a couple of hours to see if it finally finishes this part or if in a couple of hours it is still there im gonna have to turn it off manually and reboot it to see what happens, hopefully im not gonna endup with the same previous problem again

Plan B!
Connect the HDD to the other (XP) working computer but remove it's original XP HDD, so the only HDD connected is the one from the TOSH.
Use the Tosh Win7 install DVD and install Win7. When 7 has been copied over, don't allow it to reboot - switch off the system and move the HDD to the Tosh.

ok the problem here is that i dont have the original 7 CD cause PC nowadays dont bring any media cause its already preinstalled, Also my XP system is not VISTA or 7 Compatible so i dont think it will be able to install it. the win 7 that i have is a ISO that my friend gave me and said it was activated or something like that or enterprise i dont remember.
any other ideas? should turn it off manually? what do you recommend?

Try to install using the Win 7 DVD and the XP system - just don't let it reboot after it has copied over the files (or if it auto-reboots, switch it off quickly).

ok i did what you suggested and it worked, the installation went smooth and now it even boots by itself. but now the periferals arent working: the CDROM is displayed but doesnt read anything, the usb gets power but doesnt read it, the audio doesnt work, the WiFi doesnt work so basically i cant update and not even install the missing drivers... any ideas?
also i decided to install the same version of 7 that came with the PC which is 7 Home Premium x64 and i noticed that it didnt ask for a product key and in the Computer--->properties it doesnt say that windows is activated or not, it doesnt say anything at all like it supposed to at the bottom
i took a couple of pics to show you:
https://www.dropbox....ph/IMAG1611.jpg
also as you can see is the next pic the hidden partition is not visible anymore and the cdrom is there but when i insert media and click it it ejects the drive and then when i reinsert it it doesnt open the media

i found this while searching to see if anybody has the same issue and it turns out to be every single toshiba that is l505d-gs6000 has the same problem. it has to do with the mobo.

Steve6375 you rock man, thanks for helping me out and for your time you are the best, thanks so much.
well at least now it boots and works even thou i dont have those things i mentioned before i can use it like that until i get tired
