I am having a font viewing problem.

What has happened is that I have recently bought a Dell 30 inch monitor and although I have customised Windows 7 x86 Ultimate's desktop icons and text to be larger, I cannot find anyway of adjusting the menu fonts within WinBuilder.

WinBuilder 's fonts size on this screen is very small.

Is there any way of increasing the font size of WinBuilder itself..?

This is probably not the solution you’re looking for, but you can do this, while running the LiveXPe: Right Click on desktop -> Properties -> Appearance -> Font size -> Choose “Extra Large”

Changing the font settings item by item also does not change the font size of WinBuilder.

Looks like I have to wait until whoever programs WinBuilder, gets around to making the font size readable.

Does anyone know how high on the priority list this sort of bug is.?
Is there a roadmap somewhere here on BootLand.?

There has never been a publically available roadmap.

Currently, winbuilder.exe development for the public is halted. winbuilder.exe is being privately developed for the nativeEx_PEEasy project, but such versions are currently crippled for other projects. This state may change in the future, we'll just have to wait and see.

Don't worry about priorities for the moment, I ensure that bugs reported here are solved as soon as possible.

Can we see a screenshot of your desktop to get an idea of the problem?

What is the resolution that you are using?

It is going to be followed across 2011. You are welcome to join us during the alpha testings to see if the font size gets well handled as intended. Otherwise without your feedback it might become difficult as few people around here experience the same nuisance.

It is a hard way (not impossible) to adjust the display to a "screen resolution independent" fixed size.
When I feel beeing motivated to continue WinBuilder development, this can be an important item on the ToDo list.
Just to explain to BobxT: I'm the developer of WinBuilder since some years.

Sure , and you know how much I do appreciate your work and achievings.

Only they are done (at least till now) "as needed" or "as necessary" or "as fancied" and NEVER "as planned".

This may be "right" or "wrong", it doesn't matter, point is that the question was:

Is there a roadmap somewhere here on BootLand.?

and the answer to it is NO.
We do have the (lousy IMHO) development plan you pointed to that noone commented, let alone followed since it's "release" and however that one is completely unlike a "roadmap".

A roadmap details (or should detail):

• WHAT will be done.
• (optionally WHY it needs to be done)
• WHEN it will be done.
• WHO will do it (or at least should do it)

We don't have any of the above, mind you that, again, a roadmap is not necessarily a good or a bad thing, but we don't have it.

But in several weeks you can see here new projects "nativeEx_X_PEEasy" and "nativeEx_7_PEEasy".
