Hi

How to install windows 7 a Dell PowerEdge Server ?

 

I have dell PowerEdge T130 that I want to run Windows 7 on.

This server came with Windows server 2012 which I no longer require and would like to set it up with Windows 7

 

when i start from cdrom, keyborad & mouse don't work !!!!

Hi Sinan

did you check BIOS settings ?

look for USB support in case you have USB-mouse/keyboard, check PS2 if not.

I managed to add usb 3 driver to windows 7

Now Keyborad & mouse work, but hard disk is not recognized
any help please

Hi Sinan

if you have special AHCI  drivers  device, you should also add specific drivers.

look if RAID is enabled in BIOS. (should be disabled by default)
