Hihi folks ...
... i am "brandnew" at boot-land.net since yesterday ...

And i found some nICE tips & tricks about VistaPE & WinBuilder ...

I started with winbuilder after the german pc-magazin "c't" releases a "special version" of winBuilder in dec 2008 ...

Since a few days i try to integrate my favorite backup&restore product "Acronis True Image Home 2009" in the CD ...
But all of my tries fail ;(

I use Acronis true image since version 6 for creating images of the master PCs to duplicate them to all other machines in the classroom ...
It's easy going for my work ...
We use also the server version for our major system (version 9.1)

In the past i created a BartPE cd with TI2009home. Running fine ...
But now i like to use it under WinPE 2.x ...

I found some scripts about the echo version and at least one script for version 11 ...
But i'm not able to create a script for the 2009'er version ...

I found also some stuff from "Mustang" ... his scripts and his pe-builder ...
ok ... i will get a running TI2009 by investing $9.99 ...
But it's not what i want

But if the creating of the TI 11 script was possible, the 2009'er script would be possible too ... or am I wrong?

Anyone out there, interesting in creating this script?

Hi RicoPausB, welcome to the forum

All the Acronis progs you mention work fine in LiveXP and can backup/restore Vista parts from there. If you need VistaPE, I only have TI95 (and DD10) working (thanks to Max_Real_Qnx) but check here for the script you need - Good luck

But if i use WinBuilder & VPE there's no way to get Ti2009 running ....

Please give more info, any error(s) you received, a log if you got it, host info, OS version, source used etc. so that those in the know here might be able to help you get it working

You might have to enable BartPE support plugin, not sure.

Exactly how do you mean?
What is the 'from any PECD TI 2009 ... using livexp'?
Exactly what .script do you use in livexp (what is working in livexp but not in ViataPE), can you post it here?

I'm currently working on another project ... sorry ...

But there is fault in my thread ...
LiveXP is running, but i can't get integrate Acronis TrueImage 11 or 2009 or Disc Director 10, in case of missing scripts ...
And I don't have the experience to create them by myself ...

I tried it with a simple "BartPE Builder" and there i can integrate TI 11 and 2009 by using the official BartPE PlugIn from acronis ...

I tried also the DD10 and TI11 scripts from Max_Real_Qnx ...
Both won't work in my VPE ...

On 2 machines (also VMWare 6) the VPE won't start correctly ...
Hangs with "unexpectable system error" ...

Looks like there's maybe a problem with my german version ...

nope ... can't work in case of missing license informations i think ...
it's made for the beta and seems not to work with a legal german version ...

But no matter ...
I found a solution here ...
This script works for me right now ...

requirements :
- A 32bit host system, because there are problems with "C:\program Files (x86)" ... I've used XP SP3 right now ...
- TI 2009 (full with license) must be installed to the standard path ...
- the BartPE Plugin must be installed ...

and then everything works fine ... right now ... (tested with the "special VistaPE" from german c't magazine 26/08)

c ya ... and thanx for now ...

think, i will be back soon with more questions ... and maybe in furhter time with more help
