Hello everyone!

Does ImDisk 2.* support async I/O and/or command queues? I think that would be very good for networked backends.

If it does, what interface should I use (I'd prefer .NET, but C/C++ is fine as well).

Parallel (non-queued) I/O is supported for virtual disks backed by image files (including image files mounted from UNC locations) or physical memory, but not for "proxy-type" ones.

At command line you specify -o par to use this feature. When mounting through the libraries there are similar flag values to use in the flag field.

Just to reconfirm: there's no queuing support whatsoever?
