Hi,
I have a beginners question:
At system start ImDisk creates drive z:\ for me. After that I want to let it create a folder in this drive. Is this possible directly with ImDisk or do I need to find another way? Any hints?

How (exactly) is IMDISK creating the drive z:\ for you?
You need to use a batch (or other script) to create the folder anyway, so it may be a good idea to "move" the creation of the IMDISK driver to the script also, the only issue may be that Windows takes some time to assign the drive letter upon volume creation, so you need to test the existence of the drive letter before creating the directory in it,
Maybe (it depends on the actual use you have for this) you may want to create, INSTEAD of a drive letter, a mountpoint to an existing (empty) directory on a NTFS volume:
http://reboot.pro/to...-a-mount-point/
http://reboot.pro/to...point/?p=126730
This way the device object may be "left" and provide automatically a volume mountpoint access at next boot/IMDISK volume creation.
