@ Brito or @ erwan.l

The user ner0 can't attach files to his posts.

He is trying to attach new Updated PEPassPass to v1.2.2

I gave him the info to do it here.

But so far he is not able to see the attach section on the screen, could this be related to his usser level?

If so, could you promote his user level to do it? I'm sure his valuable contribution deserves it.

Thanks in advance, your friend:

Thanks for bringing it up to attention. Members with less than 100 posts can't attach files to avoid spam. I've upgraded his account to advanced user.

Now should work.

Heck!

I thought they were 50 (fifty) posts (that seemed at the time like a reasonable threshold)

User deomsh is in the same situation then.

Can you also "upgrade" him"?

Sure, I've upgraded that account too.

At the time the threshold was that high because of spammers. Albeit in good truth they do tend be stopped quickly enough.

Thanks a lot, Brito (and Wonko).

This will make posting much easier. Although converting print-screens from Grub4Dos' command-line to text is an interesting subject, but too time-consuming...

I have no context for this, but you can have pretty decent results with open source like Tesseract OCR

Here's an example:

@ner0,
Thanks a lot. Sadly I can't test next two weeks - no PC (holidays).

Most OCR-program's have problems with tab's and special signs. Especially output of 'cat --hex' is a disaster on all online converters I've tried. Like the attached (real) print-screen.

I hope Tesseract OCR will do better.

@Tokener
Thanks a lot for testing. Watching the result, Kadmos had a very 'hard time'.

Not to further deviate from the topic, but to post here a reference to an alternate way, a little tricky, but not that bad:

http://reboot.pro/in...=22540&p=219019

using the serial console of grub4dos in Virtualbox via Putty.

@ Brito

It seems the user a1ive can't edit his posts. He's one of the main developers of grub4dos for UEFI, also the author of a1ive's grub2 and a1ive's grub2 File Manager, also his contributions on this forum are very valuables.

From this post:

How do I edit the content of a post?
GRUB4EFI / GRUB4DOS download link:
https://github.com/c...ub4dos/releases
http://grub4dos.chenall.net/
Bug Report:
https://github.com/c...grub4dos/issues
Other discussions:
https://github.com/c...dos/discussions

reboot.pro is often down and slow to load.
The main developers of grub4dos (yaya, chenall and me) are mainly active on github.
So I recommend reporting bugs, requesting features or asking questions on github.

Could this be related to his usser level?  If so, could you promote his user level to do it?

Thanks in advance, your friend:
