@ gerolf and Wonko

Have you read the title of this topic?, it clearly says: GRUB4DOS for UEFI

All this you are commenting is related to grub4dos for MBR, and since long time ago there is a very big section on the forum for this talks.

You should open a new topic to continue with your talk, as it seems opotune.  Don't you think?

Both of you are forum members since long ago and should be giving the example for new users, and not promote this disorder.

That's nowhere in the contract I didn't sign, however you are right, these posts don't belong here:

http://reboot.pro/in...showtopic=22400

Moved them to their own thread (this one):

You happy? :)

Now, members "since long ago" do deserve some respect (you know the thing your post completely lacks), you might want to refine your currently non-existing diplomatic skills.

Besides that respect, I am also the moderator of the grub4dos sub-forum, so, I deserve even more respect AND if you find something you think "wrong" on the forum, you are kindly asked to report the issue or PM me (as opposed to play moderator).

Alternatively (and this would be a very nice idea, that I do approve) ask Nuno if he can make you the grub4dos sub-forum moderator (so that I am relieved of the position and related burdens).

Thanks, I think everybody likes order.

I didn't try to be irrespectful, I was just mentioning plain facts.

My comment maybe was not very polite, but also was not offensive to any of you.

But it is ridiculous being you the moderator that you didn't take this decision before, and you had to wait until you read my comment.

And now you have the nerve to want to scold me, after you did not fully fulfill your mission. This sounds funny to me.

Be a man and acept your mistakes, do not deviate the atention from your fault just saying something like: Maybe I made a little mistake but yours is worst because you didn't treat me with the respect a viceroy deserves, no my friend it is your fault and only yours.

By the way I don't have any interest in being the moderator of the grub4dos sub-forum, in fact I'm only just another grub4dos user, and a forum member since 12 years ago, so I'm not just a new user and you are not the right person to pretend to educate me.

From a topic I started, on this Post:

@ relynx

With all due respect I kindly suggest you to open your own Topic to talk about all details of your procedure, and there answer questions related to it. And please stop hijacking this topic.

Hijacking a Topic, unnecessarily disturbes and create confusion to other readers.

You can be sure I will read your Topic, as I can boot from my grub4dos menu.lst or from Ventoy directly to my full installed Linux Mint or Linux Lite (both Ubuntu derivated) VHDs located into a HD partition, to try your procedure and I will let you know there if I have any questions.

Best regards

Your friend

No issues whatever, everything you posted is AFAICT, appropriate, interesting :worship: and on-topic, or at least as on topic as my own posts/comments..

alacran evidently is in a bad period/bad mood (or - alternatively - you and me are both into one such state of mind :dubbio:, I love coincidences ;)).

Anyway, last time I checked and AFAIK, he is not an Administrator or Moderator of the board, so his comments and suggestions on what you should do are only personal opinions.

So it is pretty clear even being polite and kindly is not good enough for you.

Well, now I made clear  my point, if your royal highness allows me  let's go back to sanity:

The topic GRUB4DOS for UEFI is already very long, and since at the begining there were some troubles to make it work in our tests, it is in fact also a little hard to read with so many unsucessful tests, but nevertheless I think it is good to keep the history of the development of this new tool, we have now available and working so good, but on the other hand it is also good to not make the topic more confuse and a complete disorder.

About this new topic, IMHO it is good to have now a place for the relevant and updated info about this subject, that may be interesting for some readers, and not burried on another unrelated topic.

You don't get it, though it is not that much difficult.

1) STOP playing moderator.

2) If you see something that you find not right, report the issue or PM the moderator.

3) DO NOT discuss the actions (or non-actions) of moderators on the thread.

Topic split and closed.
