this is the new version of camsnap which has yet to be released.

CamSnap 1.0 is on alot of sites and is proving to be quite popular.

Taking pictures with your Webcam has never been easier. Thanks to camsnap, your camera is displayed on your screen, and you simply click take picture. It will then ask you where you would like to save the jpeg image and your done.

Version 2 additions:

a timer built in,
a picture preview displaying the last six images taken.

although i have tested this alot myself, im releasing this as Beta to you.... just with so many operating systems and webcams available i cant sit here and say it will work fine for everyone until a thousand or so have tried

Thats the only way it started to download for me.

Cant really test it yet. I dont have a cam.
Does it come with a Cam. lol!

First Impressions:
Good name for program.

When installing it refers to itself as Camsnap v2.00


Recommend taking the hightlighted things out


Other recommendation within picture.


Cant blame you for sneaking in your picture. lol!



Might think about adding an auto take pictures after how many secons, min, and so on.

The take a picture after ?? seconds had me thinking it was an auto take picture. but you have to press the take picture Manually before the seconds count down.

you simply click take picture. It will then ask you where you would like to save the jpeg image and your done.

I dont have a camera connected but I started the Start Cam and it showed blurry stuff. Took a picture but it didnt ask me where I would like to save the image.

ive changed all the things you mentioned apart from taking pictures on a time loop simply because im coding that feature in to a commercial piece of software.. CamSnap Pro records video, has a motion detector built in to it, an FTP Engine to upload the images to a web server for example, and email notification .... but thats another story ( project )
