I think that the antivirus program may be of interest.
Quote from the description:

Dr.Web CureIt is a standalone anti-virus and anti-spyware scanner that scans your PC for viruses, trojans, adware, spyware, hack tools, rootkits, and other malware. The program does not require an installation and can be run from a USB drive. This is an on-demand scanner only, it can detect and remove virus infections but does not provide any real-time protection. Dr.Web CureIt is based on the ICSA certified Dr. Web scanning engine and should provide reliable detection.

Pros: No installation needed; scans for a wide range of viruses

Cons: No real-time protection; updates require re-download of the entire program

I experienced a few portable anti-virus programs on the basis of the LiveXP project, ClamWin Portable I have not worked, only after unpacking cureit.exe by 7-zip to usb flash and launch _start.exe was able to use this program.

It is also rated "not-that-bad" (in my personal scale ) in this recent (march 2008) comparison:

Though not shining in the latest (september 2008):

Hi by_rom  ,

I always did admire things of beauty, but I have to say the wall paper lady is a close second to the wife!
4 my eyes only!

Many Thanks,

ispy
