Just to keep the record strait, the post above was not made by me. I find it disturbing that someone (Nuno) could post in my name without my permission! :realmad:

As for the topic, I don't like the idea of yet another section for the same tutorial. Splitting it into three parts (good intentions aside) only caused confusion and adding a fourth isn't going to help. I would have preferred two sections only, one for 'pure' tutorial and one for support, questions etc. Unfortunately, merging them now would only confuse things more so better to leave alone but, please, no more sections!

This is a test. Auto-generated by the tutorial system.

Instead of expressing anger, let's discuss this matter on the topic that I created yesterday.

I am also presenting my critics there of things that I would like to see changed. If you read it, you would have noticed that I also don't like this kind of auto-generated topics.

I prefer to see the topic on the tutorial system to point onto the original forum thread.

So, no point in angry words. My apologies if your topic was used as example to test the system. I did it knowing that once it met our requirements then the tutorial system would become a good addon to our community.

Right now, I am still evaluating it.

Using tags I think is a better way to organize things and is working already quite well.

In this way e.g. by clicking on the TUTORIAL tag it would give a list of all Tutorials.

Oww, Amalux, come off it :), it is not like Nuno (actually the "Tutorial generation system") posted something "improper" or "offending" or however "wrong".
It was a test, I am sure made by Nuno in perfect good faith and with the best intentions, the fact that the idea - as well as the result - is botched is not (IMHO) that big a thing.

IF the threads had been mantained there would have been NOT the problem you are now expressing (a couple years later, BTW).

The threads:
http://reboot.pro/5226/
and
http://reboot.pro/5225/
can be re-merged together with NO issues whatever.

Cleaning the thread:
http://reboot.pro/4111/
from all the posts that should have been made on the other two, and that the Mods/Admins failed to move there in a timely fashion, might take some time, though. :dubbio:

I'm closing this topic to prevent further replies being placed on a test topic. Please provide feedback about the tutorial system at http://reboot.pro/16394/

Thank you.
