GDay All,

I have one more request, when adding objects in the interface the 'Add objects' window opens in the center of my 2 monitors. Any chance that it could be opened in the center of the screen (1 Monitor)? :whistling:

Next version you will see it wherever the WinBuilder window is!

changed - New Component Dialog now in center of WB window, rather than in center of desktop

(To center in monitor #1 seems to have some troubles, following some Delphi forums' posts)

Hi ...

Why don't you attempt to add an hardware detection as in linux livecd distribution ?

WinBuilder is a batch processor with a couple of great enhancements, compared with other batch processing applications.

But it is not a 'Setup' program.

BTW: There are already several scripts performing hardware detection.

On left of winbuilder, when user clicks accidentally a folder branch, it enables all scripts without a verification question.

example: post8 here http://www.boot-land...?showtopic=9207

Suggestion:
having an option
verifybranchselection=True
verifybranchselection=False

When true (which should be default) if user clicks accidentally, "Are you sure you want to enable all scripts in this branch" -->yes-no

Something like that........

Like Jaclaz already explained:
Most of our personal confrontations occur because my English is as poor as yours.

Therefore let me repeat how I understood:

If the user clicks into the 'select' box in the project tree, all childs are selected / unselected, depending on the current toggled state of the parent.

You suggest to optionally popup a dialog to ask whether to change all childs.
Whether the popup appears or not, depends on a variable anywhere in WinBuilder, which can be set by the user.

If that meets your suggestion:

:whistling: I'll try.

One small request:

Please use the bugtracker to properly manage bug reports and requests: http://www.boot-land...hp?showforum=96

This makes bugs and requests easier to find and manage.

Thanks.

Nuno, DONE :whistling:

Maybe lucky night, I force my chance for the 2,

One more suggestion (if understood/accepted will be also added to bugtracker)

As far as i remember, Last week 2 users ask for an optional pause stop during build, nobody answered but we already have this introduced before by editing winbuilder.ini manually

StopAgree=Realy stop the build?

Maybe better to have this feature also on winbuilder-->Tools-->options screen (or elsewhere) so new winbuilder users can find the existance of this feature easier.

Edit: pause

Small modification:
As long as we discuss, here is the right place.
(Bugtracker is NOT a discussion area)

When it is a final suggestion, it should be inserted into the bug tracker.

Yes, I agree and we both know this. But a lot of people don't know this implicit rule and whenever they see "New features.." they opt by writing their request here instead of writing a new topic on the "requests" section of the bugtracker.

That's the point of my worry.. ;)

It's hard to navigate through so many pages of talks and eventually gets difficult to remember what was being talked about, let alone for new people reading the last topics to know what was covered before or what are the current issued being discussed.

What about my Synaptics idea

Write about it here:
http://www.boot-land...hp?showforum=99

Explain your idea in a detailed manner (one that is understandable to those who never used synaptics before) and it will surely be discussed if there is community interest in implementing such feature.

is some form of native WIM support an option? even if it still required the WAIK to be installed for wimgapi.dll? or is this a better job for the common_API to detect the tools available and choose the appropriate one? with the growing need to manipulate .wim files for various projects it would be nice to have everybody on the same page.
