I have a very old Winbuilder Win7PE and I am now working on a PEBakery ChrisPE Win10. I am in the testing phase and once I have a bootable up and running I am going to start looking at different solutions for our current workflows; I have most of my build issues worked out and now looking at adding scripts.
Previously I used PENetwork for mapping drives, I liked it but I am sure something better exist now; however I didn't really come up with anything for Network digging through the scripts or the request. PEnetwork let me predefine paths that were selectable from a drop down and the user could put in their credentials; I would like to retain both of those functions in a nice GUI.
Also, this is for image capture apply. we use .wims and currently i have a cobbled together ImageX with the GimageX GUI that works for XP and Win7 but we need to now support Windows 10 with .wim format. I grabbed the WinNTSetup script but are there others I should look at? I need to cleanly capture and apply Win10, I have captured without much issue but the apply has issues and I am looking for a wim based method that negates the need to disable defender before capture.
Or a better way to disable and enable defender that does not effect the imaging process.
