Hello All,

I had issues with WinRAR under Mindows, so I tried 7Zip and found it to work fully (AFAIK) under Mindows.

I'm betting others will have some info on apps that run under Mindows and can share their experiences.

Thanks!

Hi Hive ---
I run Firefox. There is a problem with the installer (which I will fix) but I merely imported the Mozilla Firefox folder from another Windows installation, and it works fine (with one minor problem which I will also fix).

Portable apps is also a good resource for ready to use free programs like firefox, openoffice and such:

I personally use xampp - "Apache, mySQL, PHP, phpMyAdmin and more in an integrated package" - doesn't need an installation and it's quick to set up.. :P

Hi!
What screen resolutions can Mindows handle, without a card specific driver?
