Sure :), and their (war related) technologies have "fed" for two or three decades both the US and USSR technology and industries, expecially aircraft/missile/space ones.

Those things were not invented / developed by the Nazis, but by german engineers.
The Nazis were politicians.
What they did however develop, was a set of new and for the time revolutionary propaganda methods.

But the reference is/was to "Nazi methods" which are/were in many occasions actually despicable.

Sure they weren't the nicest people or the sanes for that matter. But i think you use the word Nazi to refer to each and every government agency during the reign of the Nazis.
Which, imo, is inaccurate.

NO, here you miss a point, the adective "Nazi" is perceived as highly negative and when referred to "methods" used by them this negative meaning is largely accurate.

Technology of the Nazi means simply "technology developed during the period the Nazi party ruled Germany", of course it was actually developed by very good and brilliant physics and engineers that were however financed, directed, assisted and what not by the ruling party of the time, the period gave birth to a number of - if not invention/discoveries - very remarkable progresses in technology (and this wasn't limited to Germany, as in all the world - due to the needs of war - similar progresses were made in many technological fields).

JFYI, not all of these brilliant physics and engineers were actually German, and not all of them worked on projects by their own will, however.

With google.ca, "Hiren's boot cd help" doesn't yield reboot.pro on the first page of results, so exposing those searchers to the alternatives here doesn't seem too likely.

Check Wikipedia page:

guess which Forum is listed as "Fan & Discussion Forum" for it? :whistling:

There were and are a lot of things told (taught) NOT percieved to be evil at one time or another. Witches, scientists, muslims, sex, ...
And i really hate to defend this point on the example of the nazis, but just because one gets indoctrinated to see something as good or as bad, doesn't mean the nature of that thing has really to be that way.
I've had some first hand experience with that.
Depending on which side of the wall one was living, here in Germany, one was taught opposite things about, who was evil. So both sites couldn't be right. And in fact they weren't. They were both mostly wrong!
And the little bit of truth that was left, is called human nature.

Any german school child will tell you that the Swastika is a sign of evil and in fact, it's outlawed in Germany.
Ask some indian school children. They will tell you something quite different.

Good and evil, right and wrong lie completely in the eye of the beholder and are not part of the properties of the observed itself.

On a lighter note.
If someone calls you a a**hole, it is meant in a negative manner and usually also precieved that way. But when you ignore your indoctrination for a seond, what he really says is, that you're indispensable!

Yes, i know. Didn't meant german engineers in that way, but as contrast to (german[implied]) Nazis.
Which is wrong anyway, since the italians actually came up with the idea first.
Can you forgive us for stealing your thunder?

I would stop it now.
A symbol or technology by themselves are obviously nor good nor evil, methods used were largely evil, under the eyes of *any* beholder.
