forum display quirks

1_ The Quick Navigation window can be used by scrolling up/down. The vertical scroll bar moves up/down, but the list stays static... until I move the mouse pointer over the "X" (upper right corner of the Quick Navigation window). Only *then* the list actually moves according to the new scroll bar position.
2_ There are 2 "Recent Topics" sections. There is one in the main area of the screen, above the list of Groups (at least using the default user settings, and for guests). The second "Recent Topics" is located on the right side.
If I understand correctly, the first one is in fact "Recent (new) Posts", and the second one is "Recent New Topics".
The "Recent New Topics" is not "exactly" the same as "Recent Topics". A user usually understands from "recent" in a forum, something (topics, posts, members) that either had a recent activity, or is the latest in some list (in a topic, for example). "Recent New Topics" would mean a topic recently created, while "Recent Posts" or "Recent New Posts" or "New Posts" would mean a new post in a topic (the first post or not, doesn't matter).

Suggestions are good, especially when we can do something about them. Unfortunately this isn't always the case as we aren't HTML programmers.
Unfortunately I don't know how to fix this.1_ The Quick Navigation window can be used by scrolling up/down. The vertical scroll bar moves up/down, but the list stays static... until I move the mouse pointer over the "X" (upper right corner of the Quick Navigation window). Only *then* the list actually moves according to the new scroll bar position.
The right side is displaying the "new topics" while the main area is displaying the "recent activity". I agree with you that the phrasing should be changed to make this clear.2_ There are 2 "Recent Topics" sections. There is one in the main area of the screen, above the list of Groups (at least using the default user settings, and for guests). The second "Recent Topics" is located on the right side
Take care!

3_ When you are in the first main screen, you can click on "more" to display additional options (including "search"). The current display contrast between the background and the text is almost nonexistent. This problem is not only valid for users with sight difficulties, but for any user. I for example have to "select all" to clearly see what it's written there. I don't know if this is also html programming, or if this can be easily improved.
Thanks.

Personally, I would like to see the "Like this" button more visible. In the current state it is not very visible as well.

Sorry, I don't understand what exactly you are referring to. Are you saying the text is intentionally not being shown clearly?I think that is intentional.

Well, "better" is a relative term, so I guess the authors have their reasons. Thank you for your answers.Yes. (not by me, the authors of the theme decided it was better this way)

Yep, I agree with you. This is the standard theme so hopefully more people will soon make enough noise to improve these nuisances. In overall the skin is very good looking, it is just these details that could be improved.Well, "better" is a relative term
