can't find winbuilder download

I was not able to find a link to any current download of winbuilder - in the download section I find hundreds of scripts - but nowhere on this site there seems to be a direct download link for winbuilder binaries.
I believe I read all sticky posts related to downloads to no avail.
Several links go to this download section but other then posts about scripts I found nothing.
Please fix the links - or make navigation here more user friendly
thanks

it would really add to the usability of this site if such links could be found without having to ask ..
is this site linked anywhere on boot-land.net ?
After searching more then an hour I finally gave up and asked

no - but I am another well known longterm former user of boot-land in disguise.
(So ein bugmenot account ist schon manchmal recht nuetzlich )
I thought chances to get a reply are better if I appear as a newbie.
Really - the navigation of this site has never been worse.
Last time I looked maybe 3 or 4 months ago I was at least able to find the current winbuilder download.
I checked yesterday and today again and found not a single link to the site patsch listed on boot-land.net

You are perfectly right, it's not easy (read impossible) to find the Winbuilder download starting from the board, but what the heck, use some fantasy .
@billonious
Well, now we have an entirely new approach, you can either:
- make a Poll for it:
http://www.boot-land...hp?showforum=37 <- this is where people are invited to post their opinions so that management will NOT change what has been already decided - make a video of it <- this is the new frontier of technology

the existing "Downloads" link under "Navigation"- where every occasional visitor would look first - is not helpful at all..
Do you want that your users have to fight for it ???

What about the existing BIG GRAPHIC as the first linked site under .bootland sites???what is so tricky with just putting a prominent link on the first page of the boot-land.net site ?
OK, maybe the search doesn't find it because it is not inside a post, but when I go to "bootland", it is right there staring me in the face if I just scroll down the page a bit.
Now, that's not to say that some basic re-design and "freshening" of the site couldn't help...IT COULD. But come on...
OK - you got me on April Fools...Shame on me!

Bootland needs a poll for it
What a bureaucracy!
Something strange is going on here...

It's already on every page of boot land by default.
WinBuilder is supported by Boot Land but don't forget that our forum is also the home for many other projects and discussions.
With due respect I'm growing so tired of your cynic comments. In a real world, sites have to compete let it be in google, Alexa or anywhere else. My task is ensuring that our site provides a good chance for developers to be noticed out there.BTW, did you instal Alexa toolbar?

I think that you misunderstood (or I misunderstood) the intention of this topic.
Currently boot-land.net is a rather well known URL. And when you enter boot-land.net and want to download WinBuilder.exe, there is no DIRECT chance. The Download button on top of the page leads you to app scripts etc.
When you want to download WinBuilder.exe, you have to browse winbuilder.net. And that's an URL which new visitors usually do not know.
Maybe in the Download tab there is an additional magic link to the latest WinBuilder.exe ...

I think it's great that a link has been provided in the Downloads section where a new user would expect to find winbuilder.exe if unaware of the winbuilder.net site.

Perhaps we can use the same topic to also add any other relevant information in the future.

In that case, maybe lock the topic so that other posts can't be added to it and cause clutter. You can update just the first (and only) post with additional info as need be as time passes.Perhaps we can use the same topic to also add any other relevant information in the future.

....
Prominent ? - sorry - I did not even notice it before you mentioned it.
You can't expect that users find a link if you hide it in the adds section
