@Psc: You should write the link of the latest sandbox in the updates.ini so that new members can find wich is the latest sandbox release

I do not understand.
There is only one 'latest sandbox' for individual updates.

Or do you mean the latest .zip?
That would be difficult. (If you think it can help, I can try)

I think smiley meant a general use updates.ini, where scripts where updated with some regularity. It's easier to just press the update button to go and fetch the latest updated version on the sandbox - they are usually working just fine, so otherwise there's more trouble looking for the working versions..

I think it's a bug on winbuilder.exe.. :P

The good news is that I can fix it quickly once I have a better idea where it occurs, I'm working on a new way to organize scripts on the main window, shouldn't take much longer to be finished..

Thanks for reporting - this way I surely won't forget fixing it!! :P

I changed the level of AutRuns.Script from 3 to 2.
This is done to run AutoRuns.Script before USBSticks.Script.

The the last four digits are my local time. 1145 is 11.45 am.
Notice that I use 24 hoursw time so e.g. 1500 is same as 03.00 pm.

Why not using GTM time? It will be less confusing...

I did a couple of changes: :P

1st I added calculator, mspaint and wordpad scripts published by smiley.
2nd I uploaded the new autoruns script described here.
3rd I changed some existing scripts which use autoruns due to the new functionality.

They are

-MiscSettings
-USBSticks
-Go2PDF
-MKISOFS
-Explorer
-shortcut

You may download the new .ZIP

@authors of these scripts:
Please apply the changes to the originals stored on your web space :P

Peter,

will you please review my suggestion for WB folders configuration.
It looks to me more logical than present one:

Peter,

It looks to me more logical than present one:

The current layout has been suggested by TheHive.

I personally do not favour a special layout. So maybe you discuss 'logic' in a separate topic.

If there are agreements, I will implement and change the sandbox layout.

With version WinBuilder_Sandbox_20061018_1500

3 Errors

#539 [Failed] Run - Failed to find section [Add] in file [%AutoRunScript%] #1185 [Failed] Run - Failed to find section [Add] in file [%AutoRunScript%] #1248 [Failed] Run - Failed to find section [Add] in file [%AutoRunScript%]
3 error(s) while processing.

No shortcuts are created.

I think its because the file is at the bottom of list and its not active.

Discussion can be posted here.

Give me some time to take a closer look at the layout from 'phox' and I will post in the linked thread.

Please try again and delete target manually before. There is something wrong which in my opinion really depends on your system. Check the source and target paths.

Autoruns: It is level 10 now. Does not matter whether checked or not. Click the script to see more.

Did you also copy the new Winbuilder.ini from the sandbox? I'm sure you didn't :P

This issue sometimes occurred in the latest past.
I'm going to change the Tutorial about sandbox. :P

The "Make Directories" Script is active

I downloaded the sandbox and extracted to its own folder for Testing.
Then I copy the latest WinBuilder.exe. Beta 3 of Buil 52. Then I copy the Tools folder to the new folder. Then I run the Build as it was provided by the Sandbox but first I change the Source Path, otherwise Winbuilder will tell you the source is no good if you leave it as the default way it was. I dont start messing with my own testing of other scripts untill I get a good build with default layout.

I had read it but after so much testing things dont look good at times. So I have to make sure. Seeing it not selected and at the bottom of the list, it looks as if it will be processed after the Create ISO script. That why i was asking if it mattered that it was at the bottom.

I restarted my machine and it seems to build ok this time and its booting up. No shortcuts created.
Checking the log i get
3 error(s) while processing
