D:\Winbuilder_VistaPE11\Target\VistaPE Beta\Windows\system32\bcdedit.exe was not found. bla bla bla...

It's strongly advisable that WinBuilder works in (C:\) partition (otherwise bluescreens @boot are frequent).

Furthermore (if you do not already solved), please copy "bcdedit.exe" in "System Root\System32" and see what happen... you never know! :cheers:

I had this happen to me when I had 2 postconfig scripts. Verify that you only have 1 enabled (probably have one from v10 and one from v11). Just double check.

I have version 10 and version 11 in two different WB.
No chance of being this the bug.
But Nightman wrote that he fixed the problem.

Hi Medevil,

In "preconfig" script, set the boot.wim container to "1". WAIK has only one image.

EDIT. OK. I see from another thread that you have had success with the fix from Nightman. :cheers:

? No 'boot.wim' in WAIK fom MS Downloads. Only 'winpe.wim'.

My WAIK, downloaded 25 June 2007; imagex /info for x86 winpe.wim:

... image count => '1'.

BTW, Nightman. Happy Birthday (... belatedly ... :cheers: ).
