Hello

I tried to install Slackware Linux (13.0) from hard disk with UNetbootin.
I downloaded the .iso image for the Slackware DVD, I selected the image file in Unetbootin, it copied the files to my D:\ drive (it took some time) and after restart Windows booted normally, with no menu to select UNetboot instalation and boot the Slackware installer. I tried several times (the file copiing takes a lot) with always the same behaviour. I would have copied the files to my C:\ drive maybe they need to be on the boot partition for some reason but the interface would only let me select drive D:\ (perhaps for disk capacity / free space issues).

I think UNetbootin should have at least have displayed a message that it can not proceed to the instalation. Here is my C:\boot.ini file in case it had something to do with the problem ..

I had to burn the user-contributed Slackware mini-iso image and install my operating system from a mini-DVD

Thank you,
Timothy Madden
