It doesn't make sense.
The variable %Archive% is defined at the beginning of the batch, in a "common" part, before BOTH the /L and /LS calls, it cannot be valid in /L and NOT in /LS.

WHICH version are you using?
The 0.06 version is 5768 bytes in size!

Results with version 0.06:
http://www.boot-land...?...10783&st=14
http://www.boot-land...?...st&id=10835

The one 4658 bytes in size is version 0.01!

You are correct, I was using version 001 as you could already observed since my 'dir' output in previous posts. With 006 version, everything works!

My bad version comes from a redirect to this post :
http://www.boot-land...?...=10783&st=0

and in the first topic it has 001 version attached in your post.
Maybe you need to strip out such old versions ?

Maybe you need to strip out such old versions ?

Or maybe you need to read something beyond first post?

Or more generally take note that by convention UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED anything is always related to LAST version of a program or .script....

Hi jaclaz,

I disagree with you, it is more convenient collecting all versions at post 1 by the author.
On the other hand, I know you are one of very rare person (well only one I can say) who intentionally do not follow this common sense idea with the purpose of ...... at least thanks for the new text of warning on post 1

Let's clear this point also, should it be the case, it's me that is disagreeing with you - again that's by definition/convention.

Sure , it is more convenient for the lamers and leechers and more generally for lazy people to have the possibility to just click on the file attached to first post, skipping ANY useful info that may be posted later. (mind you this is a general description, and does not apply specifically to ktp and this unfortunate accident)

Ok, so you were WRONG, you weren't disagreeing with me.

BUT I can disagree anyway by pointing out how the above is convenient for the users, and NOT for the Author.

Let's see...
  • if I keep first post updated with latest release and edit it each time with the info on the thread it is more work for me....
  • if I don't and users are "forced" to read at least skim through the thread it is more work for you... (and BTW user would probably have an occasion to learn something on the usage of the thingy or anyway learn something)

Now what could I choose....

...let me think...

BTW, maybe you could move this whole chunk of nonsense to the thread about the wbunzip batch, in order to "clean" the present one?

Noooo  .

Yep I already know your goal ("purpose of....")........ and I am sure you know I know .... .

This is a situation of having 2 different path of choose, no midway, you choose A, I think B is more convenient.
Hence I critisize your choice which is "I disagree with you".
On the other hand you already know path B but intentionally choose path A at first place disagreeing to path B (+people who choose that path) so "you disagree with me".
On the other hand I already know path A but already thought path B is better which as a result "I already disagree with you" before you choose path A .
........
"Egg or Chicken, which one comes first ."

Anyway, is ktp lazy, I do not think so. It seems you were lazy by not adding a warning post of your non-common path A (=which can be considered as a kind of mid-way, and you know i like mid-ways), and now all hopefully happy.

Maybe you can think of adding similar warning to all awesome jaclaz production topics in future (and maybe in time for the older ones)... or maybe not

...and if you want to extract the app from the .script, simply READ this thread.

Did the time, read all the excessive/convoluted nonsense - plumbed the ridiculously intransigent extraction method after also checking other possible sources to find it is simply GONE; and it may be had MINUS the excess effort, here:
1.1.rar

Woof.

Precisely, has anyone tested WindowsGate on Windows 7 Ultimate - 64 bit?

For me, it doesn't work.

For me, it doesn't work.

BUT the 1.1 does actually work for Windows 7 32 bit, right?

I seem to understand that the 1.1 version works with the SP0 Windows 7 32 bit and did not with 7 SP1 (still 32 bit).

And any changes with the Russian 1.2 version?
(which is actually seemingly declared explicitly as being compatible with Windows 7 64 bit)
The 1.1 is "declared" as 2000/XP/2003/Vista/2008 (32/64 bit)
The 1.2 (Russian) is "declared" as 2000/XP/2003/Vista/2008/7 (32/64 bit)

Link please.

And any changes with the Russian 1.2 version?

What should I do now? Means click where, check/un-check what?

BTW, I couldn't understand how a version 1.2 can be built by a third-party for a closed-source product?

Where is it declared that the Russian one supports 64 bit? It doesn't.

I selected the installation as shown in the screenshot above, checked the first check-box and a pop-up appeared saying "Windows logon password validation is: OFF".  Unfortunately it didn't work.

On the screenshot you just posted.

If it doesn' t work, it means that the claim on the tool interface is incorrect.
