Run Acronis Tools By BCDW
==========================

HI all

For testing this tutor i installed apps below:

Acronis Disk Director Suite 10.0.2160
Acronis True Image Home 11.0.8.101

Then Made ISO images below by acronis app (all type of ISO they Make):

Disk Director Suite 10.0.2160-----(10.3M)--renamed to DDSU.ISO
Disk Director Safe 10.0.2160------(15.0M)- renamed to DDSA.ISO
OS selector Activator 10.0.2160--(7.28M)- renamed to OSSE.ISO
Drive Cleanser 11.0.8101---------(17.6M)- renamed to DCLE.ISO
True Image home 11.0.8101------(44.9M)- renamed to TRUE.ISO
and all of the above together--------(82.2M)- renamed to FULL.ISO

Then I tested them after doing as tutor. All was OK in Vmware 6.5

==

1.Download "BCDW 1.50z_en.zip",extract it some where

2.Make a directory and rename that to "Source" (for example D:\Source)

3.Copy files and directory below from extracted "BCDW 1.50z_en" to D:\Source

directory :

bcdw (Directory)
bcdwboot.bin
bootcat.ini
initest.com

4.Open your acronis ISO's you have made befor by UltraISO and extract boot

informations
of all of them (*.BIF files) and rename them as below:

DDSU.BIF for "Disk Director Suite 10.0.2160" ----(10.2M in my example)
DDSA.BIF for "Disk Director Safe 10.0.2160"-----(14.9M in my example)
OSSE.BIF for "OS selector Activator 10.0.2160"--(7.20M in my example)
DCLE.BIF for "Drive Cleanser 11.0.8101"---------(17.6M in my example)
TRUE.BIF for "True Image home 11.0.8101"------(23.9M in my example)
FULL.BIF for "All Together"---------------------(61.2M in my example)

5.Copy all of BIF files above to D:\Source directory

6.If you Look at ISO files, you will see that all of them (exept TRUE.ISO and

FULL.ISO)
has no contents insid itself.so just extract contents of "FULL.ISO" to d:\Source
(it has directory "Recovery Manager").

7.Open D:\Source\bootcat.ini by notepad and ad commands below in upside of that (or

use
my bootcat.ini from attachment):

C:\ ;Boot from drive C:\
\DDSU.BIF ;Run Disk Director Suite 10.0.2160
\DDSA.BIF ;Run Disk Director Safe 10.0.2160
\OSSE.BIF ;Run OS selector Activator 10.0.2160
\DCLE.BIF ;Run Drive Cleanser 11.0.8101
\TRUE.BIF ;Run True Image home 11.0.8101
\FULL.BIF ;Run Full Version

8.Make ISO of D:\Source directory contents (use D;\Source\bcdwboot.bin as boot
information file of ISO).

--------------------------
Now,work is done, you can test it.

HI Dear mahdi
1.There are other methodes to run acronis that i will talk about that later in another tutor.

2.Paragonrecovery media uses very different type of boot.it uses PT-DOS and some kinds
of linux boot.I have some exprements in using paragon in my multiboot projects.as my
exprements the kind of boot that paragon uses ,are different in different versions too.
so for running paragon tools we have two ways:
use linux (may be lilo)
use DOS
sorryly i do not know how to work by linux,so i can not do first option, but i have used dos to
run paragon in my projects, and i will talk about that in another tutor, may be next week.because
another friends asked this tutor.

3.thank you for your notes
