Hi,

I'm wondering if it is possible to configure IMDisk/Windows 10 in a way that I can use a RAM Disk for Windows Event Log Storage.

The purpose would be to minimize Write Amplification of Solid State Drives.

I'd like the event logs to be copied from SSD storage at startup, Events written to memory (RAM Disk) while system is in use, and then copying files from RAM Disk back to SSD prior to shutdown/reboot.

I understand that events could be lost during a BSOD or other fault -- and am willing to deal w/ that.

Assuming that I have sufficient privileges, is this possible?

Thanks!
