After I tried to fix my unstable display driver on Acer netbook AOA 150,. On reboot I totally lost display.
Netbook boots, Win logo appears, window runs but display is lost immediately after logo, no Acer logo.
You can feel the HDD running, display backlight is running, wi fi blinking but screen is dark.
Tried to start from safe mode with no success.
Reboot ; same thing, logo appears window Xp boots, display backlight on, no display while HDD runs and wi fi blinks.
Do not want to reformat from hidden file and loose data.
Help..thanks.

Thank you CDOB, VGA mode does not help me restore my display driver.
The display comes on on boot so I dont think it is a hardware problem .
I know what I did, I disabled the display driver and turned off the computer..!
So display goes off after windows boots. VGA disables.
I am trying to find a reliable recovery file download. mayb ethat helps.
Rest is to take the hard drive out and copy the data and restore with hidden file..
i tried to use the computer as external storage with adesk top, and I have no idea why it does not work that way.

did you follow the directions above
Flash BIOS [Display Screen remains Blank [ Black ] Screen]

You can try attaching an external display into the vga port.

external display doesnt work since the display driver of the operating system is disabled.

Do you know of anyone else that has an Acer netbook. Put them side by side and use one as a guide to get to enable the display on the one that you cant see anything on.

Make sure to increase speaker volume. It might help as you move and click or tap keyboard keys.

VGA mode does not help me restore my display driver.

Can you boot to VGA mode? Install graphics drivers next.

The Hive.. Brilliant and imaginative solution. You truly understand my problem.
However , hardware drivers may not be set up in same order and I may mess up more.
If I had access to another one I would make a copy of recovery and rescue my computer.
There is a lawsuit pending appeal in court regarding same issue.
Note; Make a recovery file on a stick when your new device comes with no OS disc.
