Yes FBWF is not compatible with several NTFS characteristics including hard links and "reparse points", but I am failing to see an actual use of it in this context

I confess that from time to time I go to this page:
http://schinagl.priv.at/nt/ln/ln.html

And I try to understand fully the whole stuff, and usually give up/fall asleep dreaming of a filesystem populated of all softlinks, but never found the time/dedication to do much experimenting ....

an old quick test (largely unrelated BTW):

So basically, you need to copy/include [Files] from the install.wim, add entries from [Registry], and use dism to install drivers from the [Drivers] section, the [ACL] section is a command to run to set proper registry permissions, and finally [Init] contains a list of command required to get audio running .

Hello Biatu,

I recently tried to build WinPE that would allow me to use RDP to connect to another PC. I would also need USB storage, audio and camera redirection. But for now I'm stuck trying to make RDP work. After copying files here and there I got to a point where I can enter credentials but when it tries to connect I get error that security package is missing.

Can you describe what did you do to make it work?

Thanks
