I've tested running 7PE with some port-softs.
Many are working with it.
Applied PEnetCfg into it.
It does work well.
SetPageFile makes me some rooms to work.
UpDateDivices is a useful stuff if you are not sure the device is working or not.
Please see my images.
Thanks for your time to visit here.
I'm using OP9 with Nuno's photo running in 7PE.
Enjoy

These are Step 2 of my images.
The deferrence of above and below is usage of SetPageFileSize.
Above pic is working with PEnetCfg.exe.
Thanks to Paraglider for this stuff.
Word 97 is working with it now, but not all functions.

--------
It's funny how Windows PE 3 running by default uses a bit less than 75Mb of memory when comparing to the full windows 7 running.
Compare with this screenshot taken earlier today:

What I meant is that Windows PE 3 from your screenshots is using ~381MB of RAM while the full running Windows 7 is using ~464Mb of RAM.
But thinking about this matter I now remember that this might be due to the fact that the WinPE image is placed on the memory before running and this would explain the high consumption of RAM at your screenshots.

yahooUK, it's nice that you give credit to paraglider, but PEnetCfg is written by TheTruth!
Hee Hee, Sorry for my totally wrong person to credit, especially to The Truth
My memory is too bad to recornise.
But my one excuse is that SetPageFile is written by Paraglider, right.
Do apoolgy to The Truth, and Thanks for your hard-work stuff.

What exactly am i looking at? Is this a list of found hardware or is this a list of hardware for which drivers have been installed?Yes, I hope so, you mean following one?
If it's the later, the problem lies somewhere else.

These are my physical devices.
When I checked with PCI/PnP Audio, there is a device driver installed as "nVIDIA HDMI @nVIDIA MCP73 - High Definition Audio Controller"
Finally, I checked with DirectX Diagnostic, it showed there is no sound card driver installed. And Windows Audio Service is disabled. Do I need to enabled Windows Audio Service?
I don't think I need to enabled that service for Audio but I'm not sure.
I'll try to solve this later. Because it is not a right place to discuss the issue and I'll make a new topic in Windows 7 forum.
I'm using Vista Drivers instead.
Comparing vistaPE, 7PE can't accept any PNF file, while booting, if there is one PNF file is there, loading process will suddenly stop with error popup.
Thanks for your help.
